As I(Hannah) type this post, we are driving to Williamsburg, VA! We got up at 4:30 am, got in the car, and left! Right now, it is 5:00 pm, and we are STILL driving!!!!!!!!! Mom has an app on her phone that shows a green pin at our starting point, and a red pin on our destination, and a little blue dot that moves as we do, so we have been watching our progress SLOWLY drag by! :) it also tells us how long we have left, as in hours, minutes! As of now, we have 3 hrs and 6 mins left! That seems like so short after today.... :)
When we "first" started, and we were in Birmingham, we thought that surely we were half way!! Well, then we checked our progress, and saw THIS!! Do you see how close to the starting point we are? =)
In south Carolina, we stopped at a gas station, took a stretching break, and got some "freezonis!!" This is us slurping our slushies, in front of our rental car.
Tomorrow, we will go colonial Williamsburg, and then the next day, we will go to Jamestown, and when we're through there, we'll head to D.C.!
